Create your own custom Photoshop brushes

Getting bored of the old standard Photoshop brushes? Well now you will learn how to create your oun funny, cool custom brushes. It’s a verry simple process, just pay attention. REMEMBER! you could use ANY image or text to create a brush. This is just an example.
Start by opening this picture using Adobe Photoshop: picture.jpg
First, we will desaturate the image (all brushes ar originally black and white).
Adjust Brightness/Contrast according to the image :
Now the image is ready for our brush, go to Edit > Define Brush…
Name it “custom brush” and click OK.

Now go to the preset manager, select the last brush, wich is your custom brush, and then click Save Set…


Well, that’s it…you now have your own custom brush. Have fun creating! ![]()
