Cold waterdrops


A simple tutorial about creating some nice water drop effects.

 

Start by opening this picture using Adobe Photoshop:  picture.jpg

 

After you opened it press CTRL+SHIFT+N to create a new layer.

Now create a small rounded shape using the Elliptical Marquee Tool(M).

 

After you used the Elliptical Tool use the gradient tool to give it some colour.

 

There make the seetings.

And draw it from point A to point B like in the picture.

 

After you done this set the layer mode to Overlay like in the picture below.

 

Now right click the layer and select Blending Options.

 

There set these values.

 

 

By now you should have something like this.

 

Now let’s continue and make these settings.

 

You will obtain this.

 

Continue and make these settings.

 

 

Now your waterdrops are ready.

Repeat the steps and create several waterdrops.Some smaller others bigger.Try looking at the picture I made to understand.
