Lightning Effect
In this tutorial I will learn you how to make a lightning effect to a storm.
Select the gradient tool,make sure the seting are like in the picture.Then drag and drop diagonally from the u-left corner to the down-right corner.You should obtain something like this.
Go to Filter>Render>Difference clouds.
And you obtain this.
The press Ctrl+L to go to levels.And set the values like in the picture below.
You will obtain a lightning.Using a brush and the black color to paint the shadows so that it will look like a lightning.Using the brush also paint with black the lightning where I’ve marked with red colour.
Then go to hue/saturation an set these values.
Save this picture and using Adobe Photoshop open it.
The drag your lightning,using the drag and drop method,to the storm picture.Be sure to select the image size of the lightning like the sie of the storm picture.
By pressing the SHIFT key you will center it automatically when you drag it.Then go to the properties lilke in the picture below and select lighten.
Your picture should look like this.
